No weapon that is formed against you will prosper, Isaiah 54:17
says God to His followers.  See Psalm 91.

Never in Our Own Strength

By both creation and redemption we are the Lords property.  We are required to obey His laws;
But we are never asked to do it in our own strength.  Christ helps us in all that we do.

If any thing is keeping you from God, then get rid of that thing.

I recently rid myself of all my beauty, fashion and makeover books, etc., reading them kept me from reading Holy Scripture.  Those Beauty books just weren't worth it in the long run!

Standard of Truth

The Bible gives us a way by which we can evaluate the validity of a message or messenger:

"To the Law and to the Testimony, if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no Light in them!" Isaiah 8:20.

In a world filled with religious confusion, the standard of truth is the Word of God.

We are Not Left Alone

When you give in to temptation, you let go of God.

Selfishness Leads to Death

By indulging ourselves we become more selfish.
We ignore God's leading in our lives and follow our own way.
 In doing this, we prime ourselves to follow Satan and later receive the mark of the beast.

Indulgence

By indulgence, selfishness will strengthen.

They Know Nothing !!!

Because "the dead know nothing" (Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6, 10),  it is certain that God does not speak through
those who claim to communicate with the dead!

No Light in Them

Prophecy

Believe in the Lord your God, and you will be established; believe His prophets and you will prosper.

God Loves the Human race

God must truly love the human race, seeing that He gave His Son to die for us and His Holy Spirit to teach us!
