There is an idea that once you are saved, you are always saved... And there is nothing the devil can do to stop it.
Is this what Holy Scriptures teach?
If you are in a saving relationship with Jesus, you might still sin, but you will ask forgiveness.
And you will be forgiven. Read 1 John 2:1 at the end of this entry.
I've known people who claim, once saved always saved, and yet they willfully sin thinking there is nothing they can do to lose Heaven and salvation.
Think of Judas Iscariot, one of the 12 Apostles. Judas sinned big time in betraying Jesus. Judas did not ask God's forgiveness for this sin, and he is not saved.
1 John 2:1. - my little children, these things I write to you that you sin not.
And if any one sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous..
