3 Wonders

John Newton, who came out of the depths of sin to become a noble preacher, said that there were 3 wonders he would see in the light of his eternal home (Heaven).

The first wonder would be to see so many there that he did not expect to see.
The second would be that he would miss many that he expected to see there.
The third, and greatest wonder of all, would be to find himself there.

God grant that we may share this (third) wonder.

A Person of Power - the Secret of Success

The secret of success is the union of the divine power with human effort. 

Those who achieve the greatest results are those who rely most implicitly upon God's strength.

The man who commanded the sun to stand still ....is the man who for hours lay prostrate upon the earth in prayer in the camp of Gilgal.

The man [or woman] of prayer is the man [woman] of power!

An Influence that All will Value

Cultivate respect for yourself because you are Christ’s purchased possession.

Success in the formation of right habits, advancement in that which is noble and just, will give you an influence that all will appreciate and value.

Live for something besides self.

…Do good, if you would be cherished in the memory of others. Live to be a blessing to all with whom you come in contact….
