Satan cannot force

Christ will give strength to all who seek it. No man, without his own consent, can be overcome by Satan. The tempter has no power to control the will or to force the soul to sin. He may distress, but he cannot contaminate. He can cause agony, but not Defilement.

The fact that Christ has conquered should inspire His followers with courage to fight manfully the battle against sin and satan.

ENCOURAGEMENT !!!: The Need of True Men

ENCOURAGEMENT !!!: The Need of True Men: The greatest want of the world is the want of men - men who will not be bought or sold, men who in their inmost souls are true and honest, ...

Never in Our Own Strength

By both creation and redemption we are the Lords property.  We are required to obey His laws;
But we are never asked to do it in our own strength.  Christ helps us in all that we do.

Power and Strength

By yielding up your will to Christ, you will be hid in Christ, in God and allied to the power which is above all principalities and powers.

You will have strength from God that will hold you fast to His strength.  ...But your will must cooperate with God's will.

Muscles

In order for a child's muscles to grow in strength, the muscles must be exercised.

In order for our faith to grow stronger, we must exercise our faith.

We do this by believing in God and trusting what He says in Holy Scripture.

Fighting Temptation

When you are tempted to sin then trust in the power of Jesus Christ. Meet temptation head-on and you will be stronger to meet the next temptation. Give in to temptation and you will become weaker and weaker.

Only those who have met temptation in the strength of Jesus Christ will stand in the last crisis.

Jesus has already conquered every sin and temptation.  So why did I, with God's power at my command, need to sin when sin had already been conquered?!

Be happy, I have overcome the world (sin)! John 16:33 words of Jesus Christ.

Never forget, that every battle of the soul is fought, and won or lost, in your mind.
Trust in Christ Jesus, He has already defeated the devil.

Let him make peace with Me

Let them take hold of My strength, that they may make peace with Me, and they will make peace with Me.

Limit to satan's Power

Satan… knows better than we do the limit of his power, and how easily he can be overcome if we resist him and face him. Through Divine strength, the weakest saint is more than a match for satan and all his [demons].

No Mimic Battle

We do not understand as we should the great conflict going on between invisible agencies, the controversy between loyal and disloyal angels. Over every [person] good and evil angels strive. This is no make-believe conflict.

It is no mimic battle in which we are engaged. We have to meet most powerful adversaries, and it rests with us to determine which shall win. We are to find our Strength where the early disciples found theirs.
