Happiness is like Medicine

A happy heart does good like a medicine, but a broken heart dries up the bones. Proverbs 17:22

The mind has influence over the body. Happiness is conducive to life and health; but sorrow, worries, and anxiety lead to disease and death.

The Trinity

Regarding the new site of signsoftheend I agree with many things they state, except the Trinity. I believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit! All 3 were present at Jesus' baptism! The voice from Heaven was from God the Father, the Holy Spirit was present in the form of a dove, and Jesus Himself was present. Matthew 3:16-17. Also!, Jesus, before His ascension, commanded His disciples to baptize in the name of the Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19. Acts 5:3-4: Ananias lied to the Holy. spirit, v 4 states that Ananias lied to God! Enough said!

Conviction

Do not feel you have committed the unpardonable sin. If you had committed it, you wouldn't even care.

"Every desire for truth and purity, every conviction of our own sinfulness, is an evidence that (God's) Spirit is moving upon our hearts.". Steps to Christ, 26, Ellen G White

Infinitely Patient

God is "merciful and gracious, infinitely patient, and abounding in goodness and truth.". Exodus 34:6

How I was Raised

I was raised to believe that God the Father is vengeful, and would immediately punish for any infraction of His law. I was raised to be scared of the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. I was told that if I did not attend church and Sunday school and then died that same week that I would go to hell.

It was not until my 20s that I was convinced God meant me no harm; that God would help and encourage me in my walk to Him. That God actually loved me and that His Son Jesus would return to take His faithful people to Heaven. That was so mind-blowing!

In Holy Scripture it says to fear God. This simply means to greatly respect and reverence Him.

Don't be afraid of God, He is not like a pagan god. God Himself loves you!

Beware!

The devil can cause the lost to feel saved, and the saved to feel lost.  He loves to mess up your mind.  Beware!  Study Holy Scripture, pray to God. Keep close to Jesus!

Standard of Truth

The Bible gives us a way by which we can evaluate the validity of a message or messenger:

"To the Law and to the Testimony, if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no Light in them!" Isaiah 8:20.

In a world filled with religious confusion, the standard of truth is the Word of God.

Please

Please make sure you are following Jesus Christ in everything.  Because the old devil can make the lost feel saved, and the saved feel lost!  It is the devil's way of confusing and deceiving everyone.

Only with God and Jesus is there truth and salvation.

Dear People

Dear People!  If you only knew and understood God's love for you - you would love Him dearly and trust Him. You would follow and obey Him.

God loves you so much. He died for your sins.  Jesus Christ took sin's penalty on Himself - the penalty of eternal death.  But Jesus' heavenly Father resurrected Him!

Jesus died so you could spend eternity with Him in Paradise.

Love Him. Trust Him. Today - Now! - Always!

Not Sanctified

As the crisis approaches a large class who have professed faith in Gods commandments, but have not been sanctified through obedience to the truth, abandon their position and join the ranks of the opposition.

By uniting with the world and partaking of its spirit, they have come to view matters in nearly the same light; and when the test is brought, they are prepared to choose the easy, popular side.

Men of talent and pleasing voice and words, who once rejoiced in the truth, use their powers to deceive and mislead souls.  They become the most bitter enemies of their former brethren.

Political Corruption

Political corruption is destroying love of justice and regard for truth; and even in free America, rulers and legislators, in order to secure public favor, will yield to the popular demand for a law enforcing Sunday observance.
Liberty of conscience, which has cost so great a sacrifice, will no longer be respected.
