Satan cannot force

Christ will give strength to all who seek it. No man, without his own consent, can be overcome by Satan. The tempter has no power to control the will or to force the soul to sin. He may distress, but he cannot contaminate. He can cause agony, but not Defilement.

The fact that Christ has conquered should inspire His followers with courage to fight manfully the battle against sin and satan.

The Great Controversy, 510, Ellen G White

A Real Battle

Whenever there is a witness for God, Satan will seek to negate the witness and bring discouragement. ...I can testify that Satan is not a myth or a fairy tale, he is real just as God is real.
Beyond the Veil of Darkness, 66, Esmie G Branner, Pacific Press Publ Assoc., 1999

I can testify that the above statement is true. There is a real battle going on for every person on earth. A battle between God and Satan. God seeks to save, Satan to destroy.
