Betty

I talked with my dear friend Betty tonight.

A few weeks ago she was in the hospital with a heart problem.  A nurse checked on her and saw that Betty's heart rate was rapidly going from 41 beats per minute to 30 beats per minute. Her heart would soon stop.

Within moments a gurney took her to surgery where a pacemaker was placed in her heart.  She is alive today, thanks to God and caring, watchful hospital staff.

Our Plans May Fail, but...

If we plan according to our own ideas, the Lord will leave us to our own mistakes. But, when, after following His directions, we are brought into tight places, God will deliver us.

We are not to give up in discouragement, but in every emergency we are to seek help from God who has infinite resources at His command.
