Best Books

I highly recommend all 4 Christian books authored by Olivine Nadeau Bohner. She is a wonderful French-Canadian lady who writes on various topics. Her books are:
The Long Long Trial;
Into the Blizzard,
Demon of Padeng, and
27 Reasons why we don't have to be afraid.

The first book is Olivine's Canadian autobiography written with humor & insight.
The 2nd is the biography of Ukrainian Canadian Jack Zachary.
The 3rd book takes place in Laos and Thailand and is a biography of a fine Christian man who leads his village in believing God. The village does not have to fear the demon of padeng because the true God is stronger and will protect His people from demons and evil.
The last book is about God's love for all; there is no reason to be afraid of God.

Infinitely Patient

God is "merciful and gracious, infinitely patient, and abounding in goodness and truth.". Exodus 34:6

He Cares for His own

It's a humbling experience to see God move in answer to the prayers of His people.... ...we have a God who responds to the faith and needs of His children. Even though He is mighty and awesome, sovereign and omnipotent, yet He is the gentle Shepherd who cares for His own. He is always there. Always.

How I was Raised

I was raised to believe that God the Father is vengeful, and would immediately punish for any infraction of His law. I was raised to be scared of the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. I was told that if I did not attend church and Sunday school and then died that same week that I would go to hell.

It was not until my 20s that I was convinced God meant me no harm; that God would help and encourage me in my walk to Him. That God actually loved me and that His Son Jesus would return to take His faithful people to Heaven. That was so mind-blowing!

In Holy Scripture it says to fear God. This simply means to greatly respect and reverence Him.

Don't be afraid of God, He is not like a pagan god. God Himself loves you!

Whether You Love Him or Not

God and His Son Jesus Christ love you totally and completely, whether you love Him or not.

What God Cannot Do

God can do anything, except God cannot sin, and He will never force people to do His will
