What Can't God Do?

ENCOURAGEMENT !!!: What can God Do?: What can't God do?! God can do anything, except sin. That is why the Bible / Holy Scripture says, Nothing is impossible with God!

Destroy the Enemy

In Hebrews 2:14, we learn that the devil has "the power of death." This is true, because sin brought death, and Satan is the author of sin. Death is not a friend, but a deadly enemy. The apostle Paul says, "the last enemy that shall be destroyed is death." 1 Corinthians 15:26. Death is the child of sin, and Satan is its father. Only the power of God can bring the dead from "the land of the enemy," at the resurrection. 1 Corinthians 15:22-26.

But some glad day sin and death and Satan will be destroyed together. Paul declared that Christ, by His death, opened the way by which He "might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil."

The Trinity

Regarding the new site of signsoftheend I agree with many things they state, except the Trinity. I believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit! All 3 were present at Jesus' baptism! The voice from Heaven was from God the Father, the Holy Spirit was present in the form of a dove, and Jesus Himself was present. Matthew 3:16-17. Also!, Jesus, before His ascension, commanded His disciples to baptize in the name of the Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19. Acts 5:3-4: Ananias lied to the Holy. spirit, v 4 states that Ananias lied to God! Enough said!

3 Wonders

John Newton, who came out of the depths of sin to become a noble preacher, said that there were 3 wonders he would see in the light of his eternal home (Heaven).

The first wonder would be to see so many there that he did not expect to see.
The second would be that he would miss many that he expected to see there.
The third, and greatest wonder of all, would be to find himself there.

God grant that we may share this (third) wonder.

Arms of Love

Dear friend, Jesus put His arms of love about us and took the punishment of Calvary. When we see His great love, temptation loses its force, and we are drawn to accept His power to keep us from stalling (sinning).

Crash Landing, 62, Robert Lee Osmunson, Pacific Press Publishing Association, 1963

Forgiveness - Promised

How wonderful that when we come to Jesus, just as we are, sorry for our sins, asking in faith for forgiveness, He will "abundantly pardon.". Isaiah 55:7. Yes, Jesus "is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.". 1 John 1:9.

Here is your comfort, your assurance, your surety. You come to Jesus just as you are, you ask forgiveness, then believe you are forgiven. You may accept it as a fact, for He has promised. It's done - you are forgiven.

"For thou, Lord, are good and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy to all them that call on You.".
Psalm 86:5

Crash Landing, 49, Robert Lee Osmunson, Pacific Press Publishing Association, 1963

Greatest Want of the World

The greatest want of the world is the want of men - men (women) who will be bought or sold, men who in their utmost souls are true and honest, men who do not fear to call sin by its right name, men whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole, men (women) who will stand for the right though the heavens fall.

Education, 57, Ellen G White

Confession

This matter of confession is Important. We do not need to go thru any person dead or alive.

"Make confession to the Lord God.". Ezra 10:11

"Your fellow man cannot absolve you from sin or cleanse you from iniquity. Jesus is the only one who can give you peace." Testimonies, Vol. 5, p 649, Ellen G White

Crash Landing, Robert Lee Osmunson, Pacific Press Publ. Assoc., 1963

Conviction

Do not feel you have committed the unpardonable sin. If you had committed it, you wouldn't even care.

"Every desire for truth and purity, every conviction of our own sinfulness, is an evidence that (God's) Spirit is moving upon our hearts.". Steps to Christ, 26, Ellen G White

Crash Landing, Robert Lee Osmunson, Pacific Press Publ. Assoc., 1963

Satan cannot force

Christ will give strength to all who seek it. No man, without his own consent, can be overcome by Satan. The tempter has no power to control the will or to force the soul to sin. He may distress, but he cannot contaminate. He can cause agony, but not Defilement.

The fact that Christ has conquered should inspire His followers with courage to fight manfully the battle against sin and satan.

The Great Controversy, 510, Ellen G White

Insecurity

This world wide feeling of insecurity and fear, the unbridled reign of gangs and lawlessness, the low value on human life, the vice that flourishes in high places, the sodomlike condition of society, the economic struggle between capital and labor, the rising tide of anarchy, the disappearance of old standards of morals and home life, the form of godliness without the power of consistent living -- these are the last omens mentioned by Jesus that will mark His appearing in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Pastor J L Tucker! Founder of The Quiet Hour Redlands, California

Destroy those Who Destroy the Earth

The nations were angry, and God's anger is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged; and that God should give reward to His servants the prophets, and to the saints, and to those who revere God, small and great; and that God should destroy them which destroy the Earth.
Revelation 11:18! New testament of Holy Scripture

God's People will be Delivered

At the world's end,There will be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time. And at that time God's people will be delivered, every one that is found to be written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
Daniel 12:1 - old testament of Holy Scripture

Delights

Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4

Intervention

Everywhere people fear an explosion that will sink our civilzation. Our world is in an undone state, and unless Jesus Christ intervenes, and soon, there will be universal ruin. Thank God for the promise of Jesus' coming!

People all around the world, who are in desperate need of hope, are responding with joy to the message of hope - Jesus is coming soon!
